Service Introduction

Pok Oi IT Resources Center is located at the first floor of Pok Oi Service Building in Pok Oi Kong Ha Wai Village. Officially opened on 30th December 2022, a new service unit under Pok Oi Hospital. Providing residents with information technology consultation and support services, shared computer workstations and equipment, information technology interest classes and workshops, and other IT related services. Our missions is to allow more people to have more opportunities to gain basic knowledge of information technology, and to prepare themselves for a smarter digital life in the future.

Project Moses

「 Project Moses」 and Pok Oi Hospital signed a letter of intent to cooperate on August 18, 2023 to jointly promote the "Training and Employment" program. The plan is fully funded by 「 Project Moses」to sponsor a group of people in need of employment to increase their income and improve their lives through professional IT skills training. The project will prioritize the transitional housing in Kong Ha Wai of Pok Oi Hospital, and residents living in Kong Ha Wai will have priority to sign up.
Course Topics and Content
After communicating with the Moses Project staff, this course will provide an introductory programming course in Python, which will teach basic programming knowledge, how to use the Python language to write programs, and automate workflows.
